How can one be in Corbett country and not try to spot the majestic Royal Bengal Tiger! Two popular options are available – Jeep and Elephant Safaris. To be honest, Tiger sightings are not very common though you will see plenty of other animals and an exciting array of birds. Few know that Corbett is a great ‘bird sanctuary’ too with over five hundred species of birds.
If you are very keen on tigers, you should take the Canter Safari into the Dhikala zone. This is a longer safari and the probability of sighting the big cat are higher.
Walking Safaris are arranged during the winter months – from October to March.
